Here, you and your partner are facing opposite directions, however, your butt cheeks and lower backs are touching. The “Spoon” Position
This is the ultimate cuddling position. Did you know that spooning can be sexual as well? Apparently, anyone can be the “big spoon” when cuddling, and it is usually the dominant partner. As the “big spoon” or “dominant” partner, you tend to wrap your arms around your partner, while you both lay close on your side. Also, your stomach rests against your partner’s back. However, when you are the “little spoon” in this position, your partner wraps their arms around you, and their back tends to rest against your stomach.
The “Honeymoon Hug” Position
Have you ever cuddled your partner in such a way that both of you couldn’t get enough of each other? This has to be the honeymoon stage. In this position, your tens to intertwine yourself with your partner, even when asleep. The “Arm Draper” Position
Have you ever been in a cuddling position, where you and your partner are facing each other, with your arms draped around each other? This is what is known as the arm draper position. Of course, you are eye-to-eye, trying to be romantic (which is really nice), however, don’t you feel distracted when you want to sleep? Do you ever get the feeling that someone is staring at you?
The ‘Sweetheart Cradle” Position
The “sweetheart cradle” position is often used when you feel like being nurtured. Your partner lies on their back in this position and holds you close, while your head rests on their chest. This form of cuddling is very comforting and creates feelings of trust, happiness, and well-being.
The “Lap Pillow” Position
This is the position where you lay your head in your partner’s lap, and it is in most cases, seen as a playful position. Also, it displays trust, as it leaves your partner more vulnerable. The pillow lap position is the perfect position for watching a movie or even your favorite Netflix show.
